The first litter born in our dedicated maternity suite were our ‘Fab Five’, a litter of gorgeous Belgian Shepherds called Bacon, Brisket, Butterscotch, Beans and Berry, all born to mum Bonnie. After training hard with our expert behavioural team, four of the puppies were scouted for specialist working homes, being adopted by a security and military training centre – a perfect place for them to thrive. The gentler of the five, Berry, was rehomed with a loving adopter called Lesley and her Labrador, Spanner. Mum Bonnie has also happily settled into her new forever home.
Cola came to Battersea when her previous owner was no longer able to look after her. When she arrived, the clinic found she was exhibiting some unusual symptoms, including issues with breathing and congestion. Our expert medical team identified a small fissure in her hard palette. This meant that surgery was the best option for Cola, and, good news, the operation our vets gave her worked perfectly. Cola is now settled in a wonderful new home with a loving family.
