One-eyed Willow

One-eyed Willow, a five-year-old stray, landed on our doorstep after a member of the public found her wandering the streets alone. Battersea’s veterinary experts immediately noticed that Willow’s teeth and ears were in bad condition and required urgent treatment. Our clinical staff removed multiple teeth and cleaned Willow’s ears daily to ensure she was as healthy and happy as possible. Little Willow was also worried by loud noises and cautious around our staff. With round-the clock support, Willow began to settle in and show off her unique personality. Smitten with Willow from the day they met, Willow was rehomed by the kind person who found her. It was thanks to generous donations like yours that we were able to be there for Willow.

Worried Wednesday

Five-month-old stray cat, Wednesday, was brought to Battersea after she wandered into a stranger’s home. Wednesday was very nervous and her timid behaviour left Cattery staff concerned about her welfare. To help Wednesday feel more comfortable and confident, our dedicated team put her on a different floor of our cattery, with fewer noises. Living in a calmer setting, she began to come out of her shell and started to show her affectionate side. After twenty-four days at Battersea, Wednesday was rehomed to a loving family in Cambridge who provided her with the calm home she needed. Your gift can help cats like Wednesday find a second chance at happiness.
